Marvin The Cat - by W. R. Griffin
A cat named Marvin likes to think in the sink,
And stare at invisible things -
Spirits that soar and ghosts on the floor;
All sorts of critters with wings.
Dust in the air - he'll spring from his chair
To pounce on nothing at all.
Then dervish around, yet not make a sound,
And, run away fast down the hall.
Marvin, you see is a seer like the
Ancient diviners of deep.
Spending his day, just divining away,
Until it is time to sleep.
